Tenancy Agreement
On completion of referencing, an Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement will be drawn up for signing under part 1 of the Housing Act 1988 as amended by the Housing Act 1996.
This is a legally binding document, so please ensure that you understand your responsibilities and, if you are unsure, seek legal advice before signing them.
There will be no provision for either party to terminate this agreement before the expiry of the fixed period, except by mutual written agreement. Should you vacate prior to the end of the fixed term you will be responsible for rental payments until a replacement tenant takes over occupancy of the property, and you will be liable to indemnity the landlord against costs incurred in re-letting the property.
